(Archived) Praxair Food Technologies Launches New Website

DANBURY, Conn., February 24, 2003 — Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX) announced today that it has launched a new area on the company’s website focused on the North American food and beverage markets. Praxair’s web-based approach to the food and beverage industry is to provide visitors with up-to-date information to enhance productivity and improve product yield. The site is located at www.praxair.com/food.

The new site has been greatly expanded to cover important processes organized by individual market allowing the visitor to access current applications, services, equipment and process gases that meet their needs. Moving beyond the expertise in freezing and chilling, the updated content includes advancing technologies in beverage production, juice processing and produce disinfection. Information on the Praxair Food Technologies Laboratory, the only one of its kind within the industrial gas business, is also part of the new site.
