(Archived) Gerald Miller Named President of Praxair Services, Inc.
DANBURY, Conn., December 20, 2005 — Praxair Services, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX), has appointed Gerald Miller president, effective January 1, 2006. Miller will be responsible for the continued growth and profitability of the business which includes process and pipeline services and leak detection and integrity assessment for storage tanks and pipelines.

Miller joined Praxair in 1989 as an applications engineer and subsequently held positions in engineering, sales, and customer service management in the East Region for the North American Industrial Gases (NAIG) merchant business. In 2000, he was appointed global product manager of Helium and Rare Gases. Most recently, he was national product manager of atmospheric gases for NAIG.
A graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Miller earned his master’s degree in business administration from Kennesaw State University.
