(Archived) AMKO Service Company Receives ISO 9001-2000 Certification for Five US Facililties
DANBURY, Conn., June 1, 2006 — AMKO Service Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX), has received ISO 9001:2000 certification from Quality Systems Registrars, Inc. for its U.S. facilities in Dover and Gnadenhutten, Ohio; Adelanto, California; Hope, Arkansas; and Stockertown, Pennsylvania.
The scope of this certification includes the design, manufacture, rehab, repair and testing of cryogenic trailers, tube trailers, high-pressure pumping equipment, storage tanks, railcars, and carbon dioxide trailers as well as specialty services such as equipment painting, vacuum-jacketed piping and fluid control module manufacturing.
