DANBURY, Conn., September 21, 2010 — For the third consecutive year, Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX) has been included in the Carbon Disclosure Project’s Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index, one of only six companies to achieve this distinction. Praxair is ranked No. 9 on the Global Carbon Disclosure Index. Praxair was also given the highest rating, an “A”, on the inaugural Carbon Performance Leadership Index and is one of only two U.S.-based firms listed on both indexes.
