(Archived) Praxair to Build New Plant in Argentina
DANBURY, Conn., April 11, 2011 — Praxair Argentina, a subsidiary of Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX), will build a new plant in Argentina to supply oxygen, nitrogen and argon.
Praxair will install state-of-the-art technology that will improve production reliability and also increase liquid product capacity in Argentina, one of the fastest growing industrial gases markets in South America. Scheduled to start up in 2013, the plant will produce 400 tons per day of oxygen, nitrogen and argon.
