(Archived) Praxair Named to CR Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens List™ for 2013
Danbury, Conn., April 16, 2013 -- Corporate Responsibility Magazine (CR Magazine) has named Praxair (NYSE: PX) to its 100 Best Corporate Citizens List for 2012, a top ranking of corporate responsibility leaders based on publicly available information.
Praxair was named among the top 25 companies of the “100 Best Corporate Citizens” selected from the Russell 1000® Index. The company’s selection was based on rankings in several categories including climate change, employee relations, environmental, financial, governance, human rights and philanthropy. Data for this list was provided by the environmental, social and governance firm, IW Financial, and the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association- a professional society focused on advancing corporate responsibility within companies worldwide -governed the methodology.
