Praxair was ranked seventh in its category – Construction, Oil & Gas Operations, Mining and Chemicals – and 203rd overall. It was also ranked sixth out of 17 companies listed from the state of Connecticut. Nearly 30,000 employees at companies with at least 1,000 people in their U.S. operations were surveyed by Forbes and its research partner.
